CLAY: Claypitts, Glasgow

My plan is to take clay from different locations within Scotland and to process the clay if necessary. Then, to make a pot the same shape and size to emphasise the type of clay collected. I will experiment with putting a transparent glaze on a test to decide if they should all have it. The set up of this project is somewhat scientific as nothing will change but the type of clay due to its location.

Raw Clay with stones and organic materials in it.

Put clay in bottles and added water to separate out the stones and gravel from the clay and organic material.

Maybe it would be easier to dissolve if it was dry? Trying drying it out before doing the separation process.
